Registration & Pricing
What does my registration include?
Every registration includes the full 3-day program, 20 PACE/AGD-approved CE credits, the Wednesday evening Meet & Greet, all Lunch ’n Learns Thursday through Saturday, the Putting Tournament & Dinner, Friday’s Beach Bash BBQ, and Saturday’s Sundaes social. Nothing on that list requires separate registration or an additional fee.
How much does registration cost, and when do prices change?
Early Bird registration is $1,995 for doctors who register by October 31, 2026, a savings of $300. After that, the rate is $2,295 through January 31, 2027, then $2,495 from February 1, 2027 onward. Staff, spouses and guests are $695 per person through January 31, 2027, then $795 from February 1, 2027 onward; call Howard Glazer at (201) 264-9580 about discounts for multiple staff, recent graduates, active military, children and families. How do I register?
Pay online on our Registration page, or call Howard Glazer at (201) 264-9580 or Melissa Summerfield, Managing Director of Oral Health Media & VP Sales at Newcom Media Inc, at (416) 951-5120 or melissa@newcom.ca and they’ll register you over the phone.
Can I bring my spouse, family, or staff?
Absolutely, many attendees do. The registration fee for staff, spouse or guest is $695 until January 31, 2027. After February 1, 2027, the price is $795. Call Howard Glazer at (201) 264-9580 about discounts for multiple staff, recent graduates, active military, children and families. This covers every meal and event on the schedule alongside you: Thursday’s Putting Tournament includes a mini putting contest and games for children of all ages, and Saturday’s Sundaes social is a great last stop for the whole family before you head to the beach or the airport.
Who do I contact about a dietary restriction?
Email melissa@newcom.ca ahead of the meeting and our team will make sure you’re taken care of at every meal.
Is the optional fishing tournament included in my registration?
No. The Wednesday morning fishing tournament is a separate, optional add-on for $395 per person, which includes the boat, tackle, bait, lunch and a shot at cash prizes. It’s non-refundable after February 23, 2027. See the Program page for details.
What happens if I have to cancel?
Email melissa@newcom.ca. Your registration is fully refundable if we receive your written cancellation on or before November 30, 2026, then 50% through January 31, 2027, and 25% through February 28, 2027. There is no refund on or after March 1, 2027. All refunds are subject to a $100 processing fee. The fishing tournament and your hotel room cancel separately and under different deadlines, and you can also transfer your registration to a colleague in the same practice at no charge. How many CE credits will I earn?
20 PACE/AGD-approved continuing education credits over the 3-day program.
What does a typical day look like?
Mornings are built around featured speaker sessions, with Lunch ’n Learns running Thursday through Saturday. Evenings include social events like the Meet & Greet, the Putting Tournament & Dinner, and the Beach Bash BBQ. The full day-by-day breakdown is on our Program page.
Are all of the 2027 speakers and topics confirmed yet?
We’re still finalizing a few featured speakers and Lunch ’n Learn topics for 2027. Anything marked TBD on the Program page will be announced as it’s confirmed, so check back as the meeting gets closer.

Where is Smiles in the Sun held?

What’s the closest airport?
Sarasota–Bradenton International (SRQ) is about a 30-minute drive; Tampa International (TPA) and Southwest Florida International (RSW) in Fort Myers are both about an hour. Rental cars and rideshare are available at each airport.
What’s included for attendees at the resort?
SITS attendees enjoy a 10% discount at the resort spa, golf for $119 per round including cart, complimentary fitness center and tennis courts, complimentary beach chairs and loungers, and complimentary parking, bicycles and Wi-Fi throughout your stay.
How do I book my hotel room?
Book online through our group booking link, which opens the resort’s reservation page with the Smiles in the Sun 2027 rate already applied. Standard rooms start at $367 USD per night, against $786 publicly for the same dates. If you would rather book by phone, call the resort at 1-888-237-5545 and mention “Smiles in the Sun 2027”.
